Click sound effect when Quick Tips refresh 10 years, 4 months ago #7720

Hi all,

I recently upgraded to VCS Diamond 8.0, and I like the new UI and layout. However, I'd really like an option to disable the Quick Tips. Among other things, they cause a sound effect to play (the Windows Navigation sound), which I can only disable by turning off navigation sounds across the OS, a step I am not willing to take. Ideally I'd like to remove that entire half of the UI -- the associated shortcuts can be found under Preferences as well, and I don't use the playback features of this software. But I'd settle for removing the sound effects and/or disabling Quick Tips. Is this something you might be able to provide in an update? 7.0 did not suffer from this issue.

Hi Julian,
Quick Tips are now able to be turned off in the latest build of VCSD8.
Please go to Your Licenses page and download it.
