Hi,

I'm new here and just purchased the AV Voice Changer Diamond 8 software the other day. Unfortunately so far I pretty disappointed with it. Hopefully it's just something to do with my own setup and can be fixed?

Using...

Windows 7 Ultimate - 64bit - 8GB RAM - Ivy Bridge i7 CPU
with Logitech G35 Headset (has Logitech Gaming Software 8.50.281)

The headset came with a few of it's own voice morph sounds, which got me amused and interested in it as they worked quite well. Someone told me AV Voice Changer is far better, so I went ahead with the purchase even before trying out the trial version (kinda regret that).

AV Voice Changer Diamond 8 installed fine and has a new "Avnex Virtual Audio Device" under the sound microphone list. However setting that as the default and starting the software ends up with a crazy loud feedback loop of hissing! So set Logitech G35 Headset as the default and that seems to still adjust the voice via the software. There's quite a bit of background noise and fuzz however, it will even pick up the typing on the keyboard.

I've tried some nicknames, but they sound nothing like them. Basically all that I really wanted with to get Family Guy voice morphs such as Stewie. I've attempted to import a sample WAV file, but no luck so far getting it to work and creating what I want.

Any help or tips for a noob just starting off?
