Please tell us more about the application(s) you use Voice Changer Software with?

And your PC configuration, such as:

  • Operating System, Version, Patch level (e.g. Windows, XP, Service
  • Pack 1 or 2, etc)
  • CPU Type and Speed
  • Amount of Memory.
  • Firewalls & anti-virus program in use? If so, which?
  • Type of headset in use?

Regarding the problem, our tech-guys advised that there is always a very slight delay with VOIP depending on the bandwidth you have available - the more the better. It could be down to the routers on the network. So, in this case, you can have a try with another VOIP program to check if the problem also occur.

Hi, I'm not using any VOIP, I've only been checking the software alone and I noticed the delay while testing. Should there be any such delay in that?

This does not normally happen when using VCSD alone.
Can we have further details about your computer's configuration in order to clarify the problem?

Have you updated your hardware driver lately? Also, which type of headset in use?

I'm running the software on Win7Pro 32bit 4GB RAM using ASUS usb wireless headset Travelite HS-1000W. I have also tested it with 64Win7 and 8 GB RAM

The delay I have between when I speak and when I hear the voice from the headphones can be from 500ms-1s which is a noticeable difference if you want to have real time feedback.

The delay occurs whether I use any filter or the output is my own voice unmodified

Regarding your problem, using a normal headset that plugged directly into your sound card's ports is highly recommended to fix the problem.

Unfortunately I have tried everything and all kinds of headsets. The delay doesn't seem to be fixed at all and it's very noticeable, as for example I say a single word in my microphone and the output reaches my headphones once I have finished saying that word.
