Change voice when live streaming with Xsplit Broadcaster

XSplit Broadcaster is a video streaming and production application that lets users combine video from different sources to produce both live streams for services such as Twitch and videos for sites like YouTube. Robust, simple to use and free under a limited license, this is one of the most popular software packages for video game streamers.

This tutorial will demonstrate how to set Voice Changer Software Diamond 9.5 (VCSD 9.5) as the main audio input in XSplit Broadcaster.

Step 1: Make sure your VCSD 9.5 is on Virtual Audio Device mode

Note

This step is no longer required if you are using the build 9.5.21 or newer.

Since the release of Voice Changer Software Diamond 9.5.21, Virtual Audio Driver (VAD) Mode is the default and primary working method. This change is guaranteed not to impact software performance and user experience quality.

- On main panel, choose Preferences menu to open VCS Preferences window.

- When VCS Preferences window appears, choose Virtual driver Mode radio button (1).

- Click OK button (2) to apply the new setting and close Preferences window.

Step 2: Prepare your voice with VCSD 9.5

- Go to VCSD 9.5's main panel, choose the morphing effects and make adjustments until you are satisfied with your vocal output. There are several ways to change your voice, including voice morphing and audio effects.

Step 3: Configure audio settings of XSplit Broadcaster

- Launch XSplit Broadcaster » Login to your account. If you are totally new, simply Sign up for a new account.

- On the main panel, choose the gear icon (3) to open XSplit Settings window.

-In the Audio tab (4), choose Microphone (Avsoft Virtual Audio Device) as the microphone input (5) » Click OK (6) to apply changes and close the window.

From now on, VCSD 9.5 will serve as the main microphone in XSplit Broadcaster and your voice will be auto morphed.

Step 4: Start streaming with XSplit Broadcaster

Now choose your favorite streaming source and go live with the new voice.

Note: Please notice that as long as VCSD 9.5 is ON, the morphing effects will be applied to your voice automatically. To be back to normal instantly, you will just need to turn the voice changer software off.
