Change voice in Steam Game Portal with VCSD 8.0

Steam is a digital distribution, digital rights management, multiplayer and communications platform developed by Valve Corporation. It is used to distribute games and related media online, from small independent developers to larger software houses.

Steam also has community features, automated game updates, in-game voice and chat functionality

We will show you the way to setup and change your voice in Steam voice chat with Voice Changer Software 8.0 Diamond.

On Voice Changer Software Diamond 8.0 main panel, click Preferences to open the Preferences window.

In the Preferences window, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.
Check Virtual driver Mode (1).
Click the OK button (2) to apply the new settings and close the Preferences window.


Run Steam>> Login to your account >> Menu Steam >> Settings to open Settings dialog box.

Select Settings command

Move to Voice (1) tab.

Click on Change Device… (2)to open Sound settings window.

On Sound settings window, choose Microphone Avnex Virtual Audio Device (3) and set it as default.

Click OK button to close.

Back to Steam’s Settings, check if Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device) has already been set as Recording (audio input) device >> Click OK.

Return to Voice Changer Software main panel, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.

Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature.


You can now start voice chatting on Steam. The morphing settings for your voice will be applied automatically. Make sure that Voice Changer Software is always turned on as long as you want to speak with the changed voice.
