INTRODUCE

This tutorial is going to show you how to make an audio clip with the combination between the voice of any of your favorite singer and yours in the simplest and most effective way with Music Morpher Gold 4.0. We take the song "America will always stand" by Randy Travis as an example. Just click here to see more other songs for July 4th, choose one of them and then mix it with your voice to create any new audio file you want using Music Morpher Gold 4.0.   • Open Music Morpher Gold 4.0 and on the Player Panel, click on the Record button.


A record dialog will come up.

  • Open the song (or any song you love), listen and sing at the same time.


Press the red button on the record dialog to record when you begin singing.

Remember to notice for the time accordance.

  • Press the red button again to stop recording.

 

  • Use the Play and Stop buttons to play back your recording. If you are satisfied with the result, click Save.


Then a Save As dialog will appear, choose the desired file name and format for your recording.

After finishing, click the Close button to close the record dialog.

Note: You should use a quiet tight room so that extra noise can not interfere in your recording.

 

  • On the module bar, click on the Editor tab to open the Wave Editor.

 

  • Click on the New Multi-track Session button and a dialog named Multi-track Session Sample Rate will come up.


Choose the proper rate, then click OK.

  • Right click to add the song to the multi-track session as Track 1.

  • Ditto your recording as Track 2.

  • You can see your settings at the left box of each track.


Note: To move the track backward or forward, just right click on it, drag and drop.




  • You can make some more adjustment to your recording or your song for better performance.

 

  • Right click at the track you want to adjust. Choose Track Properties.

(1) Move the  Volume slider (1) to adjust the volume of the track or click Mute button to mute it.

(2) Move the Pan slider (2) to adjust the volume of left and right channels. If you activate the Solo button, only this track will be heard.

(3) Adjust the equalizer (3) to enhance the quality of sound.

(4) At (4), you can change display names of the tracks, colors of the wave lines and colors of the backgrounds for easier checking.

In this sample, the track is named "Track 01", and the wave line color is orange and the background is white.

 

  • Click File on the menu bar and choose Save to have the modified audio sample overwrite its original copy.


Or Save as to create a new file leaving the original song intact. Now a brand new song is available for you to enjoy.

Note: Before saving, you can add some sound effects from the Effects Library on the right if you feel like (optional). Also learn more about Music Morpher Gold 4.0.
