How to change voice in VoxOx

VoxOx is the consumer software service for making free or cheap calls to anywhere in the world, with text, chat, fax, file sharing and more.

This tutorial will guide you through the way to use AV Voice Changer Software Diamond 8.0 (VCSD8) for changing your voice in VoxOx.

On VCSD8 main panel, click Preferences to open VCS Settings dialog box.

In Preferences tab, switch from Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.

- Check on Virtual driver Mode (1).

- Click OK (2) to apply the new setting and close VCS Settings dialog box.


Open VCSD8, choose morphing effects and make adjustments for your voice until you achieve desired voice output.

- Run VoxOx.

- In the main panel » Select File menu» Click on Preferences

Click on Preferences

- When Preferences…window comes out, choose Audio (1) on the left column.

- In Devices section, select Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device) (2) as Input Device

Adjust VoxOx’s Audio Settings

-  Click OK (3) to apply the new change and close the window.

From now on, VCSD8’s Virtual Audio Driver will be the main audio driver recognized by VoxOx.


Now you can do voice call with VoxOx.

Please notice that as long as the Voice Changer Software Diamond 8.0 is On, the morphing effects will be applied to your voice automatically. To change it back to your normal voice, just turn off the voice changer software.
