How to change voice in VSee

VSee is a proprietary low-bandwidth, group video chat and screen-sharing software tool. It came out of a Stanford University PhD project addressing the problem of making virtual teamwork easy and conveying trust over video.

This tutorial will guide you through the way to use AV Voice Changer Software Diamond 8.0 for changing your voice in VSee.

On VCSD8 main panel, click Preferences to open VCS Settings dialog box.

In Preferences tab, switch from Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.

- Check on Virtual driver Mode (1).

- Click OK (2) to apply the new setting and close VCS Settings dialog box.


Open VCSD8, choose morphing effects and make adjustments for your voice until you achieve desired voice output.

-  Run VSee, and log into your account.

-  Choose menu Settings>>Audio and Camera Setup… to open Audio and Camera Setup dialog.

- In Audio and Camera Setup dialog box, on the left panel, select Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device) as Microphone output device.

Configure audio settings of VSee

- Then click Done to finish setting and close Audio and Camera Setup dialog box.

- Now, the morphing effect will be applied automatically .


You now can do voice call with VSee. The morphing settings for your voice will be applied automatically.

Note: While VCS Virtual Audio Driver is being set as the audio driver for VSee, do NOT turn off VCSD when doing voice call via VSee. If you don’t want to use VCSD, change the audio settings of VSee back to normal audio source.
