Change voice in Garena Plus

Garena Plus is a consumer Internet platform provider in Asia.

Since the launch of its first product, Garena Plus, an online game and social platform for people to meet, chat and play games with each other, in 2010, Garena has seen unprecedented growth, quickly becoming the leading platform provider for digital entertainment and communication tools across Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Subsequently Garena launched TalkTalk, a highly engaging real-time voice and video communication platform in 2012. Since its inception in 2009, Garena has grown to serve millions of users across Asia.

This tutorial will guide you on how to use Voice Changer Software Diamond 8 (VCSD8) for changing your voice in Garena Plus.

Step 1: Make sure that VAD mode is turned ON

- Run VCSD8.

- On VCSD8 main panel, click Preferences (1) to open Preferences dialog box.

- In Preferences dialog box, switch from Hook Mode to Virtual Audio Driver Mode (2).


- Click OK (3) to apply the new setting and close Preferences dialog box.

Step 2: Prepare the voice with VCSD8

- Open VCSD8, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.

Step 3: Configure the Audio settings of Garena Plus

If you haven’t Garena Plus yet, click here to download.

- Run Garena Plus and login to your account.

- Open message dialog by double clicking on your friend’s account >> Click on Talk Now button (1) to start a voice chat.

- When Talk Talk dialog appears, click on Settings button (2).

- On the main panel of Settings dialog, choose Audio Devices tab (3).

- Expand Mic Device drop-down list and choose Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device) (4).

- Click on Apply button (5) to finish setup step.

Step 4: Start voice chat in Garena Plus with the new voice{/title}

- Now you can do voice chat session in Garena Plus with the changed voice.

Note: Please notice that as long as the Voice Changer Software Diamond 8.0 is On, the morphing effects will be applied to your voice automatically. To change your voice back to normal, just turn off the voice changer software.
