Using AV Voice Changer Software with Corel VideoStudio Pro X3

INTRODUCE

The new version of AV Voice Changer Software has a Virtual Audio Driver (AVnex Virtual Audio Device) which works as a virtual audio & sound device. This device can be used with any VoIP applications, instant messengers and recording software for changing and saving voice in real-time.
The below tips will guide you through the way to set up the audio device of your computer to be able to use AV Voice Changer Software 7.0 with VideoStudio Pro X3.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS TUTORIAL:

* AV Voice Changer Software 7.0 (All editions: Basic, Gold, Diamond)
* Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 (What is Corel VideoStudio Pro X3?)

Step 1: Prepare the voice with Voice Changer Software 7.0

Open Voice Changer Software 7.0, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.
Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and other voice changing features of Voice Changer Software.

Step 2: Change the audio settings of Windows.

- Start menu » Settings » Control panel » Click on Hardware and Sound.
- Click on Sound to go to the Audio Devices manager.
- Switch to the Recording tab (1), change the Sound Recording Default device to Avnex Virtual Audio Device (2) for recording devices.
- Click OK (3) to apply the new settings and close the Sound dialog box.

Step 3: Start your recording in VideoStudio Pro X3. with the changed voice

- Open Corel VideoStudio Pro X3

- On Audio (4) tab. Click Record voice-over (5) to open Adjust Volume dialog

You now can start recording in VideoStudio Pro X3. The morphing settings for your voice should be now applied
Note: If you don’t want to use Voice Changer Software 7.0, change the audio settings of Windows back to normal audio source.
