The below tips will guide you through the way to set up the audio device of your computer to be able to use AV Voice Changer Software with Sony ACID Music Studio.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS TUTORIAL:
* AV Voice Changer Software 7.0 (All editions: Basic, Gold, Diamond, compare all editions)
Open Voice Changer Software 7.0, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.
Note: You should have known
how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and
other voice changing tasks that Voice Changer Software can do.
- Start menu » Settings » Control panel » Click on
Hardware and Sound.
- Click on
Sound to go to the Audio Devices manager.
- Switch to the
Recording tab (1), change the Sound Recording Default device to
AV Virtual Audio Device (2) for recording devices.
- Click
OK (3) to apply the new settings and close the Sound dialog box.

- Open
Sony ACID Music Studio 7.0.- Select
Options menu »
Preferences.
- The
Preferences dialog comes up. Select
Audio Device (4) tab. Within the Audio device tab select
Windows Classic Wave Driver (5) under the Audio device type. Select
Realtek HD Audio output (6) for Default recording device (Figure below).
- Click
Apply then
OK to save the new settings and close the dialog.

You now can start recording in
Sony ACID Music Studio. The morphing settings for your voice should be now applied
