INTRODUCE

The new version of AV Voice Changer Software Gold has a Virtual Audio Driver (AVnex Virtual Audio Device) which works as a virtual audio & sound device. This device can be used with any VoIP application and Instant messengers for changing voice and/or recording in real-time. By setting AVnex Virtual Audio Device as the active audio driver for the microphone in those applications, you will be able to control your voice tone and speak the way you want.

STEPS TO TAKE

Click on the steps below to startExpand all | Collapse all

Click on the Recorder button (1) on the main panel to open VCS Recorder, check the option Record non-morphed streams at VCS (2). This will set VCS Recorder to record audio streams without VCS's morphing effects.

Tip: If you use VCS version 6.0 or earlier, go to the Common tab of the Preferences dialog box for this option.

Click the Settings button (3) on the Recorder window to go to the VCS Recorder Settings.

Select the Base folder, template tab.

- Choose a predefined base folder path (4) or click Browse (5) to choose the folder where your records will be saved.

- Choose a name template from the Name Template dropdown box (6). It's helpful in recognizing the file type if the full information appears in the file's name. The meaning of each variable is explained in the table (7).

Choose an output format:

- Go to Encoders Tab (8)

- Check the Advanced mode check box (9)

- Depending on the quality of the Playing Stream, double click on a suitable Stream (10) and select the type of output format.

In this tutorial, we choose the 44100, Stereo for the Encoder (11) because the song that I intend to record is already at a quality of 44100, Stereo.

- Click OK (12) to apply the new settings and close the Recorder Settings dialog box.

Return to the Recorder window, the new task's name (1) should be alike to the name template you have chosen in step 2. If not, redo the 2nd step.

- Click on the Record button (2) to start recording.

- Click Stop (3) to finish your recording.
