Change voice while using Yahoo Messenger 10 with Voice Changer Software 7.0 in VAD mode

INTRODUCE

The new version of AV Voice Changer Software Gold has a Virtual Audio Driver (AVnex Virtual Audio Device) which works as a virtual audio & sound device. This device can be used with any VoIP application and Instant messengers for changing voice and/or recording in real-time. By setting AVnex Virtual Audio Device as the active audio driver for the microphone in those applications, you will be able to control your voice tone and speak the way you want.

In this tutorial, we demonstrate how to use the Voice Changer Software Gold 7.0 for changing your voice in Yahoo Messenger 10 application.

STEP 1: Change the Audio settings of Yahoo Messenger 10

- Run Yahoo Messenger 10, log in your account.

- Click Messenger » Preferences or ( Ctrl+ Shift + P) to open the Y!M10 Preferences dialog.

- In the Yahoo! Messenger Preferences dialog, choose Video & Voice (1).

- In the Select devices area, choose Avnex Virtual Audio Device for your microphone (2).

- Click OK.

From now on, VCS Virtual Audio Driver will be the main audio driver recognized by Yahoo Messenger.

STEP 2: Prepare the voice with AV Voice Changer Software Gold 7.0

Run VCSG7, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.

Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and other voice changing features of VCSG.

STEP 3: Start the voice conversation with your friends via Y!M10 with the changed voice

Start voice conversation with Yahoo Messenger 10. The morphed voice will be applied automatically.

Note: While VCS Virtual Audio Driver is being set as the audio driver for acronym title="Yahoo Messenger 10">Y!M10, do NOT turn off VCSG7 when doing voice chat. If you don’t want to use VCSG7, change the audio settings of Y!M10 back to normal audio source.
