Change voice in World of Warcraft

In this tutorial, we demonstrate how to use the Voice Changer Software Diamond 9.5 for changing your voice in World of Warcraft.

What is World of Warcraft ?

World of Warcraft is an online game where players from around the world assume the roles of heroic fantasy characters and explore a virtual world full of mystery, magic, and endless adventure.


You should have a World of Warcraft installed and set up properly in your computer first. Check detailed information from WOW website.

Step to take

- On Voice Changer Software Diamond 9.5 main panel, click Preferences to open the VCS Preferences window.

In the Preferences window, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.

- Check Virtual driver Mode (1).

- Click the OK button (2) to apply the new settings and close the Preferences window.

- Go to Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording tab -> Select Microphone (Avsoft Virtual Audio Device) (1) and click Set Default (2) button.

- Click OK button (3).

From now on, VCS Virtual Audio Driver will be the main audio driver recognized by World of Warcraft .

Return to Voice Changer Software main panel, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.

Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature.

You now can do voice conversation with World of Warcraft. The morphing settings for your voice will be applied automatically.

Note: While VCS Virtual Audio Driver is being set as the audio driver for World of Warcraft, do NOT turn off VCSD 9. If you don’t want to use VCSD 9 to change voice for World of Warcraft, change settings for World of Warcraft back to normal audio source.
