Change voice when talking on Viber with VCSD 9.5

This tutorial will guide you through the way to set up AV Voice Changer Software Diamond 9.5 (VCSD 9.5) to change your voice in Viber.

Step 1: Switch VCSD 9.5 to Virtual Audio Device mode (VAD mode)

Note

This step is no longer required if you are using the build 9.5.21 or newer.

Since the release of Voice Changer Software Diamond 9.5.21, Virtual Audio Driver (VAD) Mode is the default and primary working method. This change is guaranteed not to impact software performance and user experience quality.

- On VCSD 9.5 main panel, click Preferences to open the VCS Preferences window.

In the VCS Preferences window, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.

- Check Virtual driver Mode (1).

- Click the OK button (2) to apply the new settings and close the VCS Preferences window.

Step 2: Change Audio settings of Viber

- Run Viber (Desktop version), login to your account.

- Click Tools menu (1)>> choose Option... (2) to open Viber Settings dialog box.

- In the Viber Settings dialog box, choose Audio & Video (3).

- In the Audio Input section, choose Microphone (Avsoft Virtual Audio Device) for your microphone (4).

- Click OK (5).

From now on, VCS Virtual Audio Driver will be the main audio driver recognized by Viber.

Step 3: Prepare voice with VCSD 9.5

- Go to VCSD 9.5 main panel, choose the morphing effects and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the vocal output. There are several ways to change your voice, including voice morphing and audio effects.

Note: Remember to choose the packs used for VCSD 9.5 only. The other ones which applied for other products cannot be used for VCSD 9.5.

Step 4: Start voice conversation with your friend on Viber

Start voice conversation with Viber. The morphed voice will be applied automatically.

Note: While VCSD Virtual Audio Driver is being set as the audio driver for Viber, do NOT turn off VCSD 9.5 when doing voice chat. If you don’t want to use VCSD 9.5, change the audio settings of Viber back to normal audio source.
