How to download Youtube video and convert them to other video formats

YouTube is a video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California. The site allows users to upload, view, and share videos, and it makes use of Adobe Flash Video and HTML5 technology to display a wide variety of user-generated and corporate media video. Available content includes video clips, TV clips, music videos, and other content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.

This tutorial will show you how to download Youtube videos and convert them to other video formats using AV Tube and Video Converter (VC).

Step 1: Using AV Tube to download Youtube videos

Go to Youtube page and copy link of the video what you want to download.

Run AV Tube >> Click on Paste button (1) >> Click Analyze (2) to surf the link. Once the analyzing process is done, the Output options will be available.

Choose the destination of downloaded file by clicking on Browse button (3)

Expands Quality drop-down box (4) >> select an available video quality.

Click on Download button (5).

Notice: By default, the program will automatically select the best video quality for downloading.

Step 2: Open video files

Run Video Converter >> Click on Open track(s) to convert button (6) >> Select just downloaded Youtube video file(s) >> Click Open (7).

Step 3: Choose video output format

In Settings section, left-click on Format field (8) >> Choose Video menu (9) >> Select output video format as WebM, MP4, AVI, etc (10).

Step 4: Configure the output Video and Audio settings

In the Video section, expand dropdown list and select setting command for Video Codec(11), Video Size (12), Zoom (13), Aspect radio (14), Mode (15), Quality (16).

In the Audio section, expand dropdown list and select setting command for Audio Codec (17), Sample rate(18), Channels (19), Mode (20), Quality (21).

Step 5: Start the conversion process

In Settings section, left-click on Destination (22).

When Destination dialog appears, check Specific folder checkbox (23) >> Click on Browse button (24) and choose destination folder for converted video file(s) >> Close the dialog (25).

Click Convert all track(26).
