INTRODUCTION

In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to use Voice Changer Software Diamond to imitate Chipmunk voice while chatting on Skype.

>> What is Skype?
Skype is a proprietary voice over Internet Protocol service and software application originally created by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, and owned by Microsoft since 2011. The service allows users to communicate with peers by voice, video, and instant messaging over the Internet.

STEP 1: Make sure that your Voice Changer Software Gold is on VADMode

On Voice Changer Software Gold 7 main panel, click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box

In the Preferences dialog box, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.
- Check VadMode (1).
- Click OK button (2) to apply the new setting and close the Preferences dialog box.

STEP 2: Prepare the Chipmunk voice with Voice Changer Software Gold 7

STEP 3: Configure Skype's Audio Settings

- Run Skype and log in with your account.
- Via the Tools menu, select Options.

Within the Options window, locate the Audio Settings tab (1). Then, select Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device) (2) under the Microphone setting. Click on Save to apply the setting.

STEP 4: Start voice chat with your friends via Skype with the Chipmunk voice

Get back to Skype and start the voice VoIP call or voice chat session. The morphing effects are now applied, and your voice is changed.

Note: Please notice that as long as the AV Virtual Audio Device works as major driver for your microphone, you have a very powerful Skype voice changer ready for use. And, only when the Voice Changer Software is on, the morphing effects is applied to your voice. To be back to your normal voice instantly, you will just need to turn the voice changer software off.
