Change voice while doing voice chat in Trillian with Voice Changer Software Diamond 7

INTRODUCTION

The new version of AV Voice Changer Software Diamond has a Virtual Audio Driver (AVnex Virtual Audio Device) which works as a virtual audio & sound device. This device can be used with any VoIP application and Instant messengers for changing voice and/or recording in real-time.

Trillian is a proprietary multiprotocol instant messaging application for Windows, Mac OS X, iOS , BlackBerry, Android, and the Web, created by Cerulean Studios. It can connect to multiple IM services, such as AIM, ICQ, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger....

This tutorial will guide you through the way to set up Voice Changer Software Diamond 7.0 to change your voice in Trillian's voice chat session.

Step 1: Run AV Voice Changer Software Diamond (VCSD) 7.0 and make sure that VadMode is applied

On VCSD7 main panel, click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.

In the Preferences dialog box, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.
- Check VadMode (1).
- Click OK button (2) to apply the new setting and close the Preferences dialog box.

Step 2: Prepare voice with VCSD7


Return to VCSD7, choose morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with output voice.

Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and other voice changing features of VCSD.

Step 3: Adjust the Audio and Video settings in Trillian

- Run Trillian Software

- Go to View Menu >> Select Advanced command

- In Preferences Windows >> Go to Video & Voice >> Select Microphone Input: Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device)

Step 4: Start the voice chat session in Trillian with the new voice


You can now start voice chatting on Trillian. The morphing settings for your voice will be applied automatically.
