So, this tutorial will guide you the way to talk like Chipmunk on Skype with Voice Changer Software 8.0 (Diamond Edition).

On main panel of Voice Changer Software Diamond 8.0, click Preferences to open the Preferences panel.

In the Preferences window, we will switch from Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode:

Check Virtual driver Mode (1).

Click OK (2) to apply the new settings and close the Preferences window.

Run Skype, login to your account.

Choose menu Tools >> Options.

Skype - Audio settings

In the Options dialog box:

Select Audio settings (1).

In Microphone area, select: Microphone(Avnex Virtual Audio Device) (2).

Skype - Select VAD

Click Save.

From now on, AV Virtual Audio Driver will be the main audio driver used by Skype.


Get back to Skype and start VoIP chat. The morphing effects are now applied, and your voice has been changed.
