In this tutorial, we will step you on how to use Voice Changer Software 7.0 (VCS) for changing your voice when you are on Imo.im

>> What is Imo?

Imo instant messenger is a web-based service with video and voice chat functionality. imo’s web messenger and mobile messenger apps let you IM your friends with AIM, Facebook, Google, Talk, Jabber, ICQ, MSN, MySpace, Hyves, VKontakte, Steam, Skype, and Yahoo.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS TUTORIAL:

* AV Voice Changer Software 7.0 (All editions: Basic, Gold, Diamond, compare all editions).

STEP 1: Prepare the voice with Voice Changer Software 7.0

Open Voice Changer Software 7.0, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.
Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and other voice changing tasks that Voice Changer Software can do.

STEP 2: Switch Voice Changer Software 7 to VAD (Virtual Audio Device) mode

On VCS7 main panel, click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.

In the Preferences dialog box, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.

- Check VadMode (1).

- Click the OK button (2) to apply the new settings and close the Preferences dialog box.

STEP 3: Configure audio settings of Imo.im

- On your web browser, go to https://Imo.im

- Sign in by Imo account or any other of your favorite chat networks (MSN, Skype, Facebook, Yahoo ...)

- Click to select a friend in Contact list (3) then point to Call and choose whether you want to make an audio call or a video call (4)

- When Adobe Flash Player Settings dialog pop-ups, click Allow to grant the service access to your camera and microphone >> Close

- Click on Settings (5) at the bottom right of the video screen >> Go to Microphone (6) tab >> Select Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device) (7) >> Click Settings again to close.

STEP 4: Start the voice conversation with your friends via Imo.im with the changed voice

You can start the voice chat session on Imo.im with your voice changed.
