Change voice while using Ventrilo in VAD mode

INTRODUCE

The new version of AV Voice Changer Software Gold has a Virtual Audio Driver (AVnex Virtual Audio Device) which works as a virtual audio & sound device. This device can be used with any VoIP application and Instant messengers for changing voice and/or recording in real-time. By setting AVnex Virtual Audio Device as the active audio driver for the microphone in those applications, you will be able to control your voice tone and speak the way you want.

In this tutorial, we demonstrate how to use the Voice Changer Software Gold 7.0 for changing your voice in Ventrilo application.

What is the Ventrilo?

Ventrilo 3.0.0 is the next evolutionary step of Voice over IP (VoIP) group communications software. Ventrilo is also the industry standard by which all others measure themselves as they attempt to imitate its features.

By offering surround sound positioning and special sound effects on a per user, per channel, per server or global configuration level the program provides each user the option to fully customize exactly how they wish to hear sounds from other users or events.

STEP 1: Change the Audio settings of Ventrilo

- Run Ventrilo.

- Click Setup to open Ventrilo's Setup dialog.

- In the Set up dialog, choose Voice tab (1).

- In the Voice section, choose Avnex Virtual Audio Device for User Direct Sound (2).

- Click OK.

From now on, VCS Virtual Audio Driver will be the main audio driver used by Ventrilo.

STEP 2: Prepare the voice with VCSG7

Return to VCSG7, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.

Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and other voice changing features of VCSG.

STEP 3: Start the voice conversation with your friends via Ventrilo with the changed voice

You can now make voice conversation with Ventrilo in game. The morphed settings for voice will be applied automatically.

Note: While VCSG Virtual Audio Driver is being set as the audio driver for Ventrilo, do NOT turn off VCSG7 when doing voice chat with Ventrilo. If you don't want to use VCSG7, change the audio settings of Ventrilo back to normal audio source.
