- Run Voice Changer Software by either:
Click on the VCS Gold icon on desktop
- or -
Go to Start » Programs » Voice Changer Software Gold » Voice Changer Gold 7.0
- Open VCS Comparator by clicking on the Comparator button (1) on the main panel.
- Click on the Add button (2) and the VCS Voice Import dialog box pops up.
- In VCS Voice Import dialog box: choose the sample voice you want to imitate.
* Click the Browse button (1) and point to the recording of the voice you want to imitate, then click Open. (See tips)
* Name the person whose voice is in the record by typing into the Person textbox (2).
* Type the spoken phrase of the record into the Phrase textbox (3). This is the phrase you have to speak when doing your own voice record in the next step.
For example, in this illustration, the person is named Brad, and the phrase is: "Do not fool me around."
* Click the Import button (4) to import the file into Voice Comparator module. The Voice Import dialog box will be closed automatically.
Tips:
- Record a short sentence or phrase of your favorite celebrity to use as the sample voice.
- The imported record must contain a conversation of at least two words and its content should be listed in the Phrase textbox (3).
- You can click Play to pre-listen to the voice before you click the Import button.
- The new sample voice you have just added will appear at the Voice section (1).
- Click the Record button (2) and speak into the microphone the text in the Phrase field.
Tips:
- Your voice should be clear and loud enough.
- You should start to speak right after hitting the Record button.
- Try to imitate the tone of the recording voice for best comparing performance.
- Click the Auto button (3) and wait for the VCS Comparator to make the comparison.
- When the comparison process is finished (the result is shown in the Similarity textbox) click the OK (4) button to apply the settings and close the Comparator.
The settings will be applied into the Pitch and Timbre graph of Voice Morpher feature on main panel.
