How to change voice in Team Talk 3

INTRODUCTION

The new version of AV Voice Changer Software Diamond has a Virtual Audio Driver (AVnex Virtual Audio Device) which works as a virtual audio & sound device. This device can be used with any VoIP application and Instant messengers for changing voice and/or recording in real-time. By setting AVnex Virtual Audio Device as the active audio driver for the microphone in those applications, you will be able to control your voice tone and speak the way you want.

Team Talk 3 is an internet based voice conferencing application that allows you to talk with your friends and colleagues using the internet as audio carrier.

In this tutorial, we will guide you through the way to set up Voice Changer Software Diamond 7.0 to automatically change voice for voice communication via Team Talk 3.

Step 1: Switch AV Voice Changer Software Diamond (VCSD7) to VAD mode

On VCSD7 main panel, click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.

In the Preferences dialog box, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.
- Check VadMode (1).
- Click OK button (2) to apply the new setting and close the Preferences dialog box.

Step 2: Prepare voice with VCSD7

Return to VCSD7, choose morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with output voice.
Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and other voice changing features of VCSD.

Step 3: Change Audio settings in Team Talk 3

- Run Team Talk 3
- Go to File Menu >> Select Preferences command
- In Preferences windows >> Go to Sound System tab >> Click on Windows audio radio button
- Select Input device: Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio) and Output device : Speakers (High Definition Audio)
- Click on OK button to apply setting.

Step 4: Start a voice conversation via Team Talk 3 with the new voice

You can now start voice chatting on Team Talk 3. The morphing settings for your voice will be applied automatically.

Note: While Avnex Virtual Audio Device is being set as default audio driver for Team Talk 3, do NOT turn off Voice Changer Software Diamond 7.0 when voice chatting via Team Talk 3. If you want to stop changing voice, change the audio settings of Team Talk 3 back to normal audio source.
