Voice Changer Software Diamond – Change voice in Dell Video Chat

INTRODUCTION:
This tutorial will guide you through the way to use Voice Changer Software Diamond (VCSD) to change your voice in Dell Video Chat.

» What is Dell Video Chat ?
Dell Video Chat is video communication utility. All the components you need are already a part of your laptop so all you need to do is start making a list of family, friends, and associates to speak to.

STEP 1: Make sure that your Voice Changer Software Diamond is on VAD Mode

On Voice Changer Software Diamond main panel, click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.

In the Preferences dialog box, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.
- Check on VadMode (1).
- Click OK (2) to apply the new setting and close the Preferences dialog box.

STEP 2: Prepare the voice with Voice Changer Software Diamond

Open Voice Changer Software Diamond 7.0, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.

STEP 3: Adjust Audio settings of Dell Video Chat

- Run Dell Video Chat, log into your account.
- Click on Settings menu >> Choose Microphone

- When Dell Video Chat Settings window comes out, go to Microphone Settings tab >> Select Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device)
- Click Finish.

From now on, VCS Virtual Audio Driver will be the main audio driver recognized by Dell Video Chat .

STEP 4: Start voice chat via Dell Video Chat with the new voice

You can now start voice chatting on Dell Video Chat.

Note: Please notice that as long as the Voice Changer Software is On, the morphing effects will be applied to your voice automatically. To be back to normal instantly, you will just need to turn the voice changer software off.
