In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to use Voice Changer Software 7.0 to imitate Chipmunk voice while chatting on Skype.

>> What is Skype?

Skype is a proprietary voice over Internet Protocol service and software application originally created by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, and owned by Microsoft since 2011. The service allows users to communicate with peers by voice, video, and instant messaging over the Internet.

>> About the Chipmunks:

Alvin and the Chipmunks is a 2007 comedy film directed by Tim Hill. The film was critically panned, but was a major financial success: on a budget of $60 million it made $217 million in North America and $361 million at the box office worldwide, and was the seventh-best selling DVD of 2008, earning over $101 million.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS TUTORIAL:

* AV Voice Changer Software 7.0 (All editions: Basic, Gold, Diamond, compare all editions).
* You need to have Skype installed on your computer.

STEPS TO TAKE

Open Voice Changer Software 7.0, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.
Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and other voice changing tasks that Voice Changer Software can do.

On VCS7 main panel, click Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.

In the Preferences dialog box, we will change Hook mode to Virtual Audio Driver mode.

- Check VadMode (1).

- Click the OK button (2) to apply the new settings and close the Preferences dialog box.

- Run Skype and log into your account.

- Via the Tools menu, select Options.

Within the Options window, locate the Audio Settings tab (1). Then, select Microphone (Avnex Virtual Audio Device) (2) under the Microphone setting. Click on Save (3) to apply the setting.

Get back to Skype and start the voice VoIP call or voice chat session. The morphing effects are now applied, and your voice is changed.
