INTRODUCE

The new version of AV Voice Changer Software Goldhas a Virtual Audio Driver (AVnex Virtual Audio Device) which works as a virtual audio & sound device. This device can be used with any VoIP application and Instant messengers for changing voice and/or recording in real-time. By setting AVnex Virtual Audio Device as the active audio driver for the microphone in those applications, you will be able to control your voice tone and speak the way you want.

STEPS TO TAKE

Click on the steps below to startExpand all | Collapse all

- Click the Preference button on the main panel, and switch to the Ignore Filter tab (1).

- Check the Enable checkbox (2) to activate the Ignore Filter.

- Check the Applications option box (3) to use the Ignore application mode which is easier for use than the Ignore Streams mode.

- Click the Add button (4) on the right to see the application list.

- When you click the Add button, there will be a popup menu which shows a list of applications running in your computer at the same time with VCSG. Click on the name of the process to add it to the Ignore list.

If you need to add a program which is not listed, click Browse.

- Repeat the above action until all the programs that should be ignored have been added into the list.

- Click OK (5) to apply the Ignore settings and close the Preferences dialog box.

For example, in fig 3, there are two media players, two web browsers, and two instant messengers are running at the same time with VCSG. We want VCSG to morph the sound played by QuickTime, then add Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Yahoo Messenger, and Windows Messenger into the Ignore Filter list since these programs may also produce audio streams.

Note: Audio streams from Windows Media Player (WMP) will be morph automatically by VCSG. So if you want VCSG to work with another program other than WMP, you should add WMP to the Ignore list.
