INTRODUCE
- Click the Preference button on the main panel, and switch to the Ignore Filter tab (1). - Check the Enable checkbox (2) to activate the Ignore Filter. - Check the Applications option box (3) to use the Ignore application mode which is easier for use than the Ignore Streams mode. - Click the Add button (4) on the right to see the application list.  - When you click the Add button, there will be a popup menu which shows a list of applications running in your computer at the same time with VCS. Click on the name of the process to add it to the Ignore list. For example, in fig 3, there are two media players, two web browsers, and two instant messengers are running at the same time with VCS. We want VCSD to morph the sound played by QuickTime, then add Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Yahoo Messenger, and Windows Messenger into the Ignore Filter list since these programs may also produce audio streams.  Did you find this page useful? - So bookmark this page on Delicious. |
